Cold Spring is a city in Stearns County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 4,025 at the 2010 census. It is part of the St. Cloud Metropolitan Statistical Area.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.70 square miles; 2.67 square miles is land and 0.03 square miles is water.

As of the census of 2010, there were 4,025 people, 1,549 households, and 1,049 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,507.5 inhabitants per square mile. There were 1,641 housing units at an average density of 614.6 per square mile. The racial makeup of the city was 94.2% White, 0.2% African American, 0.2% Native American, 0.2% Asian, 0.1% Pacific Islander, 3.9% from other races, and 1.0% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 7.1% of the population.
